Ruth Hayes

Ruth Ann Hayes, 82, of Moulton passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Hollis Retherford officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on September 28, 1939 to the late Frank and Dorothy Pungiture, Ruth enjoyed antiquing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Brian Hayes; daughter, Tina Terry (Ronnie); brother, Frank Pungiture (Mari), sisters, Betty Anderson (Pete) and Teri Modelski; grandchildren, Nathan Terry (Katie), Nikki Kennedy (Jason), Amanda Wilburn (Quentin), Laura Borden (Bubba), Adam Hayes (Crystal), and Haley Terry (Cecil); and 27 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Hayes; daughter, Beth Hayes Terry; great-granddaughters, Hadley and Ryleigh Borden; and sister, Dorothy Butler.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Terry, Adam Hayes, Cecil Terry, Quentin Wilburn, Bubba Borden, and Jason Kennedy.
