Sarah Nell Jenkins

Sarah Nell Jenkins, 80, of Moulton passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Lawrence Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at noon with Tim Akers officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on August 2, 1941 to the late Raymond “Hut” and Opal Brooks Hester, Sarah Nell loved to watch NASCAR, the Crimson Tide, and New England Patriots.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Jenkins; daughter, Denise Sosnowich (Michael); grandchildren, Austin Jenkins, Ali Sosnowich, and John Sosnowich; brother, Phillip Hester; and sister, Betty Ann Latham; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Jenkins; brothers, Charles Hester, Jimmy Hester, and Raymond Hester; and sister, Deborah Hester.

Pallbearers will be John Sosnowich, Austin Jenkins, Scotty Jenkins, Greg Harrison, Mike Randolph, and Jeff Butler.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Wilson, Dr. Beach, and all of Sarah Nell’s nurses and caregivers at Lawrence Medical Center.
