Sherley Woodard

Sherley Woodard, 80, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 28 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Tommy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on September 25, 1941 to the late Johnny and Edna Parker Woodard, Sherley loved working with wood and old cars. He also loved being with his family.

Survivors include his children, Tony Hollis (Kim), Ken Hollis, Scotty Odell (Amy), Lisa Pierce (Jimmy), and Nena Bryant (Greg); 27 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

Sherley was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joann Woodard; brother, Herman Woodard; and daughter-in-law, Teresa Hollis.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hollis, Trenton Hollis, Stetson Terry, Nick Pierce, Keeton Stricklin, and Kalyn Hollis.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at NHC for their care.
